The Society publishes six documents. Their status comes from the document registry (packages/sal-data/documents.json), the same source auibsal.org/documents reads, so the two never disagree. A draft is not in force until it is adopted.

Which document wins

Constitution 15.2: where documents conflict, this order prevails:
  1. University policy
  2. The Constitution
  3. The Bylaws
  4. The Policies
  5. Handbooks and guides (including this site)

How a document changes

When a document is adopted or amended, the General Secretary updates its entry in the registry. That changes the status shown here, on auibsal.org and in the Nexus at the same time.

Documents referred to but not published

The published documents cite working documents that role holders keep in SAL Drive: the Operations Playbook, the Templates & Forms Pack (SAL-OPS-02, the F- forms and L- letters), the Operations Tracker, and each programme’s own package (the Journal’s Masthead Handbook, the Side Quest Production Bible, the Second Chapter Operations Kit). Ask the General Secretary for access.
